Start by confirming your domain meets the transfer requirements and prepare the following:

• Valid payment method
• Current FastDomain login credentials
• Ability to receive confirmation emails

Preparation Steps:

1. Check domain eligibility
2. Verify domain contact information
3. Ensure domain is unlocked
4. Get EPP authorization code

Transfer Process:

1. Log into FastDomain:

• Navigate to Domain section
• Select domain to transfer

2. Update Contact Information:

• Click Contacts tab
• Verify Admin details
• Update if needed

3. Unlock Domain:

• Click Lock tab
• Select "Unlock domain"

4. Get EPP Code:

• Click Transfer EPP tab
• Copy and save the authorization code

5. Start Squarespace Transfer:

• Open Domains panel
• Click "Use my domain"
• Enter domain name
• Click Transfer domain
• Paste EPP code
• Click Save and continue

6. Verify Registration Details:

• Check contact information
• Ensure email is correct
• Update WHOIS records if needed

7. Complete Payment:

• Enter/verify payment information
• Review charges
• Confirm one-year registration renewal

8. Approve Transfer:

• Return to FastDomain
• Click Transfer EPP tab
• Select Approve

9. Monitor Transfer Status:

• Check Domains panel regularly
• Click Update status for current progress
• Allow up to 15 days for completion

Important Notes:

• Don't modify DNS settings during transfer
• Wait to add Google Workspace until complete
• Transfer includes 1-year registration renewal
• You'll receive confirmation email when complete

Post-Transfer Steps:

1. Review DNS settings
2. Set up SSL
3. Configure email (if needed)
4. Cancel FastDomain account (optional)

If transfer fails:

• Check authorization code
• Verify domain is unlocked
• Contact FastDomain support
• Consider domain linking as alternative

Completion is confirmed via email from [email protected] with green label in Domains panel.
