Meta descriptions play a crucial role in improving your site's search visibility and click-through rates. Here's a comprehensive guide on creating effective meta descriptions in Squarespace.

Understanding Meta Descriptions

A meta description is a brief text snippet that describes your page's content, appearing under the page title in search results. While search engines may sometimes display different content based on relevance, well-crafted meta descriptions can significantly impact your site's performance.
