Password Protect Pages on Squarespace: A Security Guide
Prevent unauthorized access to specific pages by implementing page passwords. Password protection allows you to keep some content public while restricting access to selected visitors.
Password-protected pages display a lock symbol in the page menu. All visitors use the same password, as individual passwords aren't available.
Key Password Guidelines:
- Maximum 30 characters, case-sensitive
- Don't use your Squarespace account password
- Editors with view permissions need the password
- Password entry appears as dots (•••••)
- Page views only count after password entry
