For Version 7.0 While using the built-in [Share] button is recommended, you can follow these steps for custom placement. First, disable the Facebook [Share] button in your settings.

Installation Steps:

1. Get the Code

• Visit Facebook's Developer documentation
• Use the Facebook Like Button Configurator
• Copy both the Javascript SDK code and button code

2. Add Javascript SDK

• Go to [Code Injection] in Squarespace
• Paste the Javascript SDK code in the "Header" field
• Save changes

3. Add the Button

• Open the page/post editor
• Insert a Code Block where you want the button
• Paste the button code

For Blog-Specific Like Buttons:

1. Open blog page settings
2. Go to [Advanced] tab
3. Paste Like button code in [Blog Post Item Code Injection]
4. Replace site URL with "{permalink}"
5. Save changes
