You can manage DNS settings for your Squarespace-managed domain to point it to Squarespace or set up third-party email services. Here's how to access and modify these settings:

Accessing DNS Settings:

  1. Go to your domains dashboard
  2. Click your domain name
  3. Select DNS from the side panel

Adding Preset DNS Records: Click "Add Preset" to automatically configure records for:

  • Google Workspace
  • Microsoft 365
  • Fastmail
  • Proton Mail
  • Titan
  • Neo
  • iCloud
  • Zoho Mail
  • Google Workspace verification
  • Squarespace Defaults

Restoring Squarespace Defaults:

  1. Open domains dashboard
  2. Click the relevant domain
  3. Select DNS in side panel
  4. Click Add preset > Squarespace defaults

Removing Squarespace Defaults:

  1. Open domains dashboard
  2. Select your domain
  3. Click DNS in side panel
  4. Click the trash can next to Squarespace Defaults
  5. Confirm deletion

Troubleshooting DNS Conflicts: If you see a "DNS Record Conflict" error:

  • Check for duplicate records
  • Look for conflicting record types
  • Refresh the page and try again
  • Ensure you're not mixing incompatible services (e.g., multiple email providers)

Other Domain Management Options:

  • Connect third-party domains
  • Manage Whois Privacy
  • Edit nameservers and DNSSEC
  • Set primary domains
  • Transfer domains to/from Squarespace

For custom DNS records, use the Custom Records section below the presets. Contact your third-party provider for specific record requirements when setting up external services.
