• Allow 24-72 hours for the connection to complete

Step 1: Start the Connection in Squarespace

1. Go to Domains menu
2. Click "Use External Domain"
3. Enter your domain name
4. Click "Connect Domain"
5. Select "1&1" from the dropdown
6. Click "Connect Domain" again
7. Click "Continue" in the displayed message

Step 2: Approve in 1&1 IONOS

1. Log in to your IONOS account in the pop-up window
2. Click "Connect" to confirm the connection
3. Wait for the success message in Squarespace
