Blog posts in Squarespace are organized into two key components: Blog Pages (landing pages displaying multiple posts) and individual Posts (each with its own URL).

Adding a Blog Page (Version 7.1):

1. Open Pages panel and click + icon
2. Select Blog from Collections
3. Choose a layout
4. Enter page title and press ENTER
5. Customize settings like posts per page and SEO options

Creating a New Post:

1. Open Pages panel
2. Click blog page
3. Click + in sidebar
4. Enter post title (max 200 characters)
5. Add content using Text Block and other elements

Editing Post Settings:

• Featured Image
• Excerpt
• Post URL
• Author
• Tags and Categories
• Comments
• SEO settings
• Social sharing options
• Location

Mobile Editing via Squarespace App:

1. Tap More → Pages → blog
2. Tap + to create new post
3. Enter title and content
4. Add text, images, or line blocks
5. Save changes

Post Publishing Options:

• Save as draft
• Schedule for later
• Publish immediately
• Share on social media
• Send as email campaign

Note: Blog posts use the classic editor, not the Fluid Editor. Multiple blog pages can exist on one site, and each post has its own dedicated URL.
