How to Set Your Homepage in Squarespace: A Step-by-Step Guide
A homepage serves as the first page visitors see when they arrive at your site. You can set any page type as your homepage, and visitors can always return to it by clicking your site title or logo.
Checking Your Current Homepage
- Open the Pages panel
- Look for the home icon next to a page title - this indicates your current homepage

Setting a New Homepage
- In the Pages panel, hover over the desired page's title and click the settings icon
- Scroll down to "Set as Homepage"
- Click Confirm in the popup message
- Save your changes
The new homepage will display a home icon, while the previous homepage remains in its original position without the icon.
After Setting Your Homepage
You can:
- Delete or rename the old homepage
- Move the new homepage to the top of your main navigation
- Hide it from navigation menus by moving it to the "Not linked" section

If you see a "We couldn't find the page" error, check for these common causes:
- Disabled Homepage
