How to Transfer a 1&1 IONOS Domain to Squarespace: Step-by-Step Guide

Domain billing and settings can be managed in one place by transferring from IONOS to Squarespace. Here's how to complete the transfer:

Before Starting:

  • Review pricing and billing information

Step 1: Access IONOS Account

  1. Log in to your IONOS account
  2. Navigate to Domains and SSL
  3. Select the domain to transfer

Step 2: Verify Contact Information

  1. Click "Privacy and Contact Details" tab
  2. Check Administrative Contact details
  3. Edit if needed under "1&1 IONOS Domain Contact Details"

Step 3: Unlock the Domain
