Blog comments and Simple Likes provide essential interaction features for your visitors. Here's how to manage them effectively:

Enabling Comments

  1. Open Blog preferences panel
  2. Click Comments Settings
  3. Enable Comments Globally
  4. Enable Allow Anonymous Comments (required for visitor comments)

Key Comment Settings

  • Allow Simple Comment Likes: Enables visitors to like individual comments
  • Require Approval: Moderate comments before they appear
  • Threaded Comments: Allow nested comment responses
  • Show Avatars: Display profile pictures next to comments

Managing Individual Post Comments

Version 7.1:

  • Navigate to Pages panel > blog post
  • Click ... > Settings
  • Toggle Comments on/off
  • Set time limit for comments if desired

  • Open Pages panel > blog page
  • Edit post
  • Select Comments On/Off
  • Set comment time limit if needed

Comment Moderation

Access comment management:

  1. Open Pages panel
  2. Scroll to Manage Comments
  3. View comments by category:
    • Unmoderated
    • Approved
    • Flagged

Moderation actions:

  • Approve: Click checkmark
  • Delete: Click trash can
  • Reply: Click speech bubble
  • Clear flags: Select flagged comments

Simple Likes Feature

To enable:

  1. Open Blog preferences panel
  2. Check Use Simple Liking

Note: Visitors can like each post once, tracked through browser storage and IP address.
