Before customizing your product's featured image, ensure you understand its importance - it's the primary visual representation across your site and social media platforms.

To modify a product's featured image:

1. Navigate to Pages panel
2. Click on a Shop page
3. Double-click desired product (or access via Products panel)
4. Scroll to Images section
5. Click Featured Image
6. Upload new image or select from library
7. For existing images, click three dots > Delete before uploading new one
8. Click Save

Important Notes:

• Featured images appear in Product blocks, Summary blocks, Shop pages (v7.1), and advanced Shop pages (v7.0)
• They represent products on social media unless separate social sharing images are uploaded
• By default, the first product image becomes the featured image
• Focal point editing only works with the default first image, not custom featured images

For optimal display across your site, consider:

• Image quality and resolution
• Consistent aspect ratios
• Clear product representation
• Proper lighting and composition

This will ensure your products look professional and engaging across all platforms and viewing contexts.
