Creating and using deep link URLs for gallery images in the Squarespace 7.0 platform allows you to share direct links to specific images. Here's what you need to know:

What Are Deep Link URLs? Deep link URLs direct visitors to specific images within your gallery pages, rather than starting at the first image. These links can be customized and are supported in most Version 7.0 templates.

Key Requirements:

  • Maximum URL length: 250 characters
  • Must test links while logged out or in private browsing
  • Not available for stacked galleries on mobile
  • Not supported on project pages, index pages, or gallery blocks

Finding Your Deep Link URL:

  1. Navigate to your gallery page
  2. Click the desired image to open the editor
