Product waitlists allow customers to receive email notifications when sold-out items return to stock. This feature helps manage customer expectations and capture potential sales from interested buyers.

Availability and Display

• Available on all pages in version 7.1
• Only on advanced shop pages in version 7.0
• Displays only for physical products and services
• Shows on product detail pages when variants are sold out
• Not visible when variants are displayed as buttons

Enabling Waitlists

1. Open the waitlist menu
2. Click settings
3. Enable "waitlist sign-ups allow" toggle
4. Optionally enable mailing list registration

Managing Waitlists

• View product variants with waitlists
• Track number of sign-ups
• Monitor registered email addresses
• Access Out of Stock and Back in Stock tabs
• Send notification emails when products return to stock

Customizing Emails

1. Access waitlist menu settings
2. Click Email
3. Edit subject line, title, and body
4. Update product details as needed
5. Save changes

Security Features

• Google reCAPTCHA automatically enabled
• Invisible security protection
• Prevents bot submissions

Disabling Waitlists

1. Open waitlist menu
2. Access settings
3. Disable "Allow waitlist sign-ups" toggle
4. Note: Existing waitlists are preserved and will reappear if feature is reactivated

Important Notes:

• Waitlists apply to all sold-out products
• Cannot be restricted to specific items
• Sold-out labels don't appear in variant dropdowns when waitlists are enabled
• Cannot export waitlist data
• Unable to view sent emails or previous sign-ups
• Cannot delete individual subscribers
