The Embedding Block allows you to integrate external multimedia content seamlessly into your website. Here's how to use it effectively:

What is an Embedding Block? An Embedding Block is a tool that lets you add external content like videos, social media posts, and other multimedia using oEmbed standard or custom embedding codes.

Video Embedding Instructions:

  2. In your site editor, click an insertion point and select Insert
  3. Click the pencil icon to open the block editor
  4. Select Code Fragment (desktop) or Code (mobile app)
  5. Paste the video embedding code
  6. Optionally add a description or custom thumbnail

Adding Video Playlists:

  1. Access your YouTube playlist
  2. Click View Full Playlist
  3. Select Share > Embed
  4. Copy the code
  5. Paste into the Embedding Block's Code Fragment section

Adding Other Content:

  1. Open the block editor
  2. Enter the content's URL (must be oEmbed compatible)
  3. If content doesn't appear, manually paste the embedding code

Troubleshooting Tips:

  • For "Enter a valid URL or embed code" error: Ensure you're using a valid URL or code
  • If embedded content is invisible: Check while logged out or in incognito mode
  • For persistent issues: Contact the third-party service provider

Best Practices:

  • Use Video Block for simple YouTube/Vimeo embeds
  • Use Embedding Block for advanced video settings or other hosting platforms
  • Enable autoplay by modifying the embedding code when needed
  • Consider Code Blocks for custom code that isn't multimedia content

This versatile tool supports various content types while maintaining your site's professional appearance and functionality.
