Products display in four main locations within your store: Shop Pages (browsable collections), Product Information Pages (individual product details), Product Blocks (individual products on any page), and Summary Blocks (filtered product samples).

Shop Pages Best Practices:

  • Use clear names like "Buy," "Shop," or "Products"
  • Optimize SEO titles with detailed descriptions
  • Consider setting your Shop page as the homepage
  • Reorganize products by dragging them to desired positions

Product Information Pages include:

  • Additional product images
  • Variant options (size, color, etc.)
  • Add to cart button
  • Detailed product descriptions

Product Organization Tips:

  • Split variants into separate products if prices/stock levels differ
  • Use unique descriptions for similar items
  • Create custom forms for highly customizable products
  • Add limited availability tags when stock is low
  • Optimize SEO descriptions for better search visibility

Categories and Navigation:

  • Add tags and categories to improve product findability
  • Categories create automatic navigation links
  • Display categories in top navigation or sidebar
  • Create up to 1,000 categories and subcategories
  • Organize subcategories up to three levels deep

Managing Categories:

  1. Access the Categories menu from the Pages panel
  2. Enter category names and press Enter
  3. Create subcategories by hovering and clicking the "..." menu
  4. Drag and drop to reorganize categories
  5. Edit category settings including name, URL slug, and visibility

Additional Organization Options:

  • Use Tag Cloud Blocks for tag/category displays
  • Implement Archive Blocks for text-based category lists
  • Link gallery images to specific categories
  • Add category links to main navigation
  • Create dropdown menus for category browsing

Keep your store organized by regularly reviewing and updating your product structure, ensuring all items are properly categorized and easily discoverable by customers.
