How to Access and Manage DNS Settings in Squarespace Domains
DNS records are instructions that servers use to direct visitors to your domain and handle custom email addresses. Here's how to manage DNS settings for your Squarespace domain:
Accessing DNS Settings:
- Go to your Domains dashboard
- Click the domain name
- Select DNS in the sidebar
Adding Predefined DNS Settings:
- Click "Add a predefined setting" for common configurations:
- Google Workspace: For email setup outside Squarespace
- Zoho Mail: Adds required fields (requires additional CNAME verification)
- Google Workspace Verification: Resends verification for parked domains
- Squarespace Default Settings: Restores original DNS records
Restoring Squarespace Defaults:
- Open Domains dashboard
- Select your domain
- Click DNS in sidebar
- Choose "Add a predefined setting"
- Select "Squarespace Defaults"
Removing Default Settings:
