Connection steps for connecting your Crazy Domains domain to Squarespace:

1. Start the Connection in Squarespace

• Open Domains panel
• Click "Use a domain I own"
• Enter your domain name and click the arrow
• Click "Connect domain"
• Select "Other" from dropdown
• Click "Connect domain" again
• Click "Continue"
• Keep the DNS records panel open for reference

2. Access Crazy Domains Settings

• Log into Crazy Domains account
• Go to Domains tab
• Click your domain
• Scroll to DNS Settings section

3. Add First CNAME Record

• Type: CNAME
• Sub Domain: [Copy unique code from Squarespace]
• Alias For: verify.squarespace.com

4. Add Second CNAME Record

• Type: CNAME
• Sub Domain: www
• Alias For: ext-cust.squarespace.com

5. Add Four A Records Create records with these values:

• Leave Sub Domain blank
• Add these IP addresses one by one:
  • 198.185.159.144
  • 198.185.159.145
  • 198.49.23.144
  • 198.49.23.145

6. Wait for Connection

• Allow 24-72 hours for full connection
• Monitor progress in Squarespace DNS Settings
• Green labels will appear as records connect
• Domain will show "Connected" when complete

Important Notes:

• Don't delete existing Mail/Email host records
• Errors are normal for up to 72 hours
• Use DNS checker tool if you see "Can't verify domain ownership"
• Contact Crazy Domains support for account-specific help

The connection is complete when you see a "Connected" label in your Squarespace Domains panel.
