Network Solutions domain connection offers two methods to connect your domain to Squarespace: Nameserver Connect (recommended) and DNS Connect.

Nameserver Connect Method:

1. In Squarespace:

   • Go to Domain Names panel
   • Click "I already have a domain"
   • Enter your domain name
   • Click "Connect Domain"
   • Select "Get Started"

2. In Network Solutions:

   • Access your domain dashboard
   • Open Advanced Tools > Nameservers
   • Click Manage
   • Remove default nameservers
   • Add these Squarespace nameservers:
     • connect1.squarespacedns.com
     • connect2.squarespacedns.com
   • Save changes

DNS Connect Method:

1. In Squarespace:
   • Go to Domain Names panel
   • Click "I already have a domain"
   • Enter domain name
   • Select "No, use DNS records"
   • Choose Network Solutions from dropdown
   • Connect to your account
   • Click Connect

After Connection:

• Wait 24-72 hours for full connection
• Monitor progress in DNS settings
• Green labels indicate successful connection
• Domain will show "Connected" when complete

Troubleshooting Tips:

If errors occur:

1. Reset nameservers in Network Solutions
2. Remove Squarespace nameservers
3. Add default Network Solutions nameservers
4. Disconnect domain from Squarespace
5. Reconnect manually

Use the DNS Records Checker if you see "Unable to verify domain ownership" message.
