Step 1: Start the Connection in Squarespace

1. Go to the Domains panel
2. Click "Use a domain I own"
3. Enter your full domain name
4. Click "Connect domain"
5. Select "1&1" from the dropdown menu
6. Click "Connect domain" again
7. Click "Continue" in the displayed message

Step 2: Approve the Connection

1. Log in to your 1&1 IONOS account in the popup window
2. Click "Connect" to confirm
3. Click "Continue" when Squarespace shows the connection is in progress

• Allow 24-72 hours for the domain to connect fully
• Monitor progress in Squarespace DNS Settings
