Index Pages organize content from multiple pages into unique layouts - grid, stacked, or slideshow format. Here's how to set up and manage them effectively:

Creating an Index Page:

  1. Click + in Pages panel
  2. Select Index
  3. Add title and press Enter

Adding Content:

  1. Click Add Page below index
  2. Choose page type based on template
  3. Add content to each subpage
  4. Drag and drop to reorder pages

Index Page Types:

Grid Layout

  • Creates clickable thumbnails
  • Best for visual navigation
  • Each thumbnail links to full page

Stacked Layout

  • Vertically stacked sections
  • Scrollable content
  • Like digital brochure format

Slideshow Layout

  • Full-width background images
  • Content overlays
  • Great for portfolios

Managing Featured Images:

  1. Hover over page title
  2. Click settings icon
  3. Select Media tab
  4. Add featured image
  5. Repeat for each page

Password Protection:

  • Protect main Index in page settings
  • Stacked: Main password protects all subpages
  • Grid/Slideshow: Add passwords to individual pages

Customization Options:

  • Adjust layout spacing
  • Modify fonts and colors
  • Change navigation elements
  • Configure image shapes and sizes

Best Practices:

  • Use consistent image sizes
  • Maintain logical content order
  • Consider mobile viewing experience
  • Test all links and navigation

To display other content types, use Layout Pages with:

  • Summary Blocks for blogs/products
  • Gallery Blocks for images
  • Calendar Blocks for events
  • Audio Blocks for music

For SEO optimization:

  • Add descriptive page titles
  • Include meta descriptions
  • Use relevant image alt text
