Import products from your existing Etsy, Shopify, or Big Cartel store to Squarespace with these platform-specific guides.

Import Limitations

• Version 7.1: Up to 10,000 physical/service products per store page
• Version 7.0: Up to 200 products per store page
• Maximum 100 variants per product
• Etsy: Limited to 500 products

Etsy imports:

• Description
• Images

Shopify imports:

• Description

Big Cartel imports:

• Description
• Price
• Product Name
• Images

Import Instructions

From Etsy:

1. Add a store page
2. Go to Products & Services → Products → Import
3. Select Etsy and click Get started
4. Choose destination store page
5. Click Start import
6. Log into Etsy and grant access
7. Wait for automatic import completion

From Shopify:

1. Download inventory .csv file from Shopify
2. Go to Products & Services → Products → Import
3. Select Shopify
4. Upload the .csv file
5. Wait for success message
6. Find imported products in "Not linked" section as "Imported Products"

From Big Cartel:

1. Go to Products & Services → Products → Import
2. Select Big Cartel
3. Enter your complete Big Cartel URL
4. Click Import
5. Find imported products in "Not linked" section as "Imported Products"

Important Notes

• This is a one-time import process
• No automatic inventory syncing between platforms
• Download products cannot be imported
• For Etsy imports, ensure vacation mode is turned off
• Product currencies must match between platforms
• Tags and categories must be added manually in version 7.0

After Importing

1. Complete store setup
2. Configure product settings
3. Enable customer reviews (optional)
4. Create discount codes for existing gift cards
5. Import shipping profiles if needed
6. Organize products and categories
7. Set up subscriptions if desired
