How to Recover Deleted Pages and Blog Posts: Complete Recovery Guide

Recover deleted pages and blog posts from your site within 30 days of deletion. After 30 days, content cannot be restored.

Restore a Page

  1. Open Pages panel
  2. Click Trash at the bottom
  3. Hover over page title and click Restore
  4. Confirm restoration
  5. Find restored page in Unlinked section

Restore a Blog Post (Version 7.1)

  1. Open Pages panel
  2. Click on relevant blog page
  3. Click Recycle Bin at bottom
  4. Click ... on post, then Restore
  5. Confirm restoration

To restore multiple posts: Check boxes next to posts and click Restore.

Restore a Blog Post (Version 7.0)

  1. Open Pages panel
  2. Click on relevant blog page
  3. Click trash icon at bottom
  4. Hover over post and click Restore
  5. Confirm restoration

Republishing Restored Posts

Version 7.1:

  • Click post in sidebar
  • Hover over preview, click Edit
  • Make changes
  • Click Publish

Version 7.0:

  • Hover over post in sidebar, click Edit
  • Make changes
  • Click Save and Publish

Non-Restorable Content

  • Text (after editor closes)
  • Blocks (after editor closes)
  • Collection items (except blog posts)
  • Page sections
  • Pages/posts deleted over 30 days ago
  • Member sites (only pages within can be restored)
  • Code (from code blocks, insertion panel, or custom CSS)

Tips

  • Use Undo while editor is open to recover recent deletions
  • Save custom code separately as backup
  • Restored pages with code blocks will include original code
  • Member site pages move to Unlinked section upon deletion
  • Consider backing up important content regularly
