How to Report and Block Malicious Email Senders: A Security Guide
Email campaigns require proper sender details to ensure reliable delivery. Here's how to set them up correctly:
Sender Details Requirements
- Use a custom domain email (e.g., [email protected]) for best deliverability
- Avoid free email services like Gmail to prevent spam filtering
- Your sender details include the "From:" name and email address visible to subscribers
- You can create up to 10 sender details but use only one at a time
Setting Up Sender Details
- Create Sender Details:
- Navigate to Email Campaign settings
- Click "Sender Details" then "Add Sender"
- Enter sender name and email address

- Check for verification email with code
- Enter code in sender details setup
- If missing, check spam folder for email from [email protected]

Managing Sender Details
To Edit:
- Find sender details in settings
- Click "..." and select "Edit"
- Modify name (email address cannot be edited)
To Delete:
- Locate sender details in settings
- Click "..." and select "Delete"
- Confirm deletion
Important Notes:
- Custom domain emails ensure better deliverability
- Some free email providers are automatically rejected
- Mailing address is set separately when sending campaigns
- Use accurate information to comply with CAN-SPAM requirements
- The last verified address becomes the default sender
