
How to Report Malware on Squarespace Pages: Step-by-Step Settings Guide
Open the page settings on computer by accessing the Pages panel, hovering over the page title, and clicking the gear icon. For the Squarespace app, tap More > Pages, select the page, then tap the settings icon.
The page settings contain several key tabs:
General Tab
- Enable/disable page visibility
- Set navigation title and URL slug
- Add password protection
- Set number of blog posts displayed (1-20)
- Make page the homepage
- Manage category navigation
SEO Tab
- Hide page from search engines
- Set SEO title and description for search results
- Preview search appearance
Social Tab
- Set custom social sharing image
- Preview social media appearance
Media Tab (v7.0)
- Add banner images and videos
- Customize page header media
Feeds Tab (Blog pages)
- Configure podcast settings
- Set custom RSS feed URL
Advanced Tab
- Manage categories and tags
- Add custom code injection
- Enable Quick View for products
- Template-specific settings
For collection pages (Blog, Shop, etc.), individual items have their own settings accessible through the sidebar. Click the settings/gear icon or three dots menu to edit item-specific options.
Important notes:
- Some settings are only available on desktop
- Homepage settings have certain limitations
- Template families may have additional options
- Collection item settings vary by content type
- Version 7.0 and 7.1 have different interfaces
Always click Save after making changes to apply the settings.
