Two main verification methods are available:
- Google reCAPTCHA
- Invisible security feature that blocks bot submissions
- Enabled by default for Form Blocks and Newsletter Blocks
- Available for forms with required email fields
- Works with Newsletter Blocks using Squarespace storage

- Confirmation Emails
- Sends verification request before adding subscribers

Customizing Confirmation Emails
To modify your confirmation email:
- Open Email Campaign settings
- Click Verification Options
- Select Customize Email
- Edit body text and layout
- Modify subject line and preview text
- Test the email before saving
Troubleshooting
If subscribers don't receive confirmation emails:
- Check spam folders
- Add [email protected] to contacts
- Verify email address accuracy
- Check email provider restrictions
For 404 errors when confirming:
- Reconnect mailing list to form storage
- Ensure domain points to Squarespace
