Starting a member site allows you to create exclusive content accessible only to visitors with a membership. You can offer both free and paid memberships through customizable pricing plans.

Creating a Member Site (Version 7.1):

  1. Open the Page Panel
  2. Click [+] next to main navigation
  3. Select [Member Site]
  4. Choose a homepage layout
  5. Name your member site

The member site panel provides these key options:

  • Pages: Add member-only content
  • Paywall: Customize access restrictions
  • Pricing Plans: Set up membership tiers
  • Settings: Configure site details

Adding Content:

  1. Navigate to [Pages] panel
  2. Select your member site
  3. Click [Add Page]
  4. Choose a layout
  5. Enter page title

The first page automatically becomes the homepage. You can rearrange pages by dragging them to different positions.

Important Considerations:

  • Pages within member sites don't have SEO options and won't appear in search results
  • You can drag existing pages into the member site
  • Each page can only belong to one member site
  • There's no limit to the number of pages you can add

Protecting Content:

  • Non-members see a paywall when attempting to access restricted content
  • Add signup links to your paywall to encourage membership
  • Consider implementing additional content protection measures

Setting Up Navigation:

  • Add external links to member navigation
  • Create custom navigation for sites with many pages
  • Consider including public page links in member navigation

Deleting a Member Site:

  1. Open [Pages] panel
  2. Select the member site
  3. Click [Delete Member Site]
  4. Confirm deletion

Note: Always notify members before deleting a site. Pricing plans remain active after deletion, and unlinked pages move to the [Links Unattached] section.

This setup creates an exclusive space for your community while maintaining content security and member access control.
