Calendar blocks enable you to display events and collection items in a calendar format on your site. These blocks are perfect for showcasing events, blog posts, products, albums, and gallery items from your collection pages.

Collection Types Supported:

  • Events (optimized for event pages)

Adding a Calendar Block:

  1. Edit a page or post
  2. Click "Add a block" or use an insertion point
  3. Select "Calendar"
  4. Click the pencil icon to open block editor
  5. Choose your collection page
  6. Click Apply to save (version 7.0)

Display Guidelines:

  • Featured images are cropped to fit date squares
  • Empty dates appear gray or match background color
  • Events ending at midnight show on both days
  • Future blog posts won't appear in calendar
  • Multiple items on one date share the space without featured images

Responsive Behavior:

  • Full width (>600px): Shows all content including images
  • Medium width (<600px): Shows titles, times, and excerpts
  • Narrow width (<300px): Shows only titles

Important Notes:

  • Calendar blocks can only display content from one collection page
  • Does not support booking functionality
  • Recommended to add excerpts and featured images to collection items
  • Event end times at 11:59 PM prevent next-day display
  • Block size affects date appearance
  • No custom style adjustments available
