Increase buyer confidence and sales by collecting authentic customer feedback for physical products, downloads, services, and subscription items (excludes gift cards) through customer reviews.
Customer reviews are automatically requested via email 14 days after order fulfillment. Buyers can:
- Rate products from 1-5 stars
- Write reviews up to 1500 characters
- Review multiple items from a single order separately
- Submit reviews within 120 days of purchase

Customize and Manage Reviews:
- Customize the review request email:
- Access Automations dashboard
- Select "Request Customer Reviews"
- Edit email content, subject line, and preview
- Test email appearance using "Send Test Email"
- Display settings options:
- Product Reviews Only - Shows reviews for specific products
- Store Reviews Only - Displays all store reviews with product images
- Product and Store Reviews - Separates reviews into tabs

- Review management features:
- Monitor reviews in Customer Reviews panel
- Toggle review visibility (Public/Hidden)
- Receive email notifications for new reviews
- Display imported Etsy reviews (optional)
Important Notes:
- Reviews remain even if products are modified
- Hidden reviews don't appear on product pages
- Customers cannot edit or delete their reviews
- Reviews cannot be exported or transferred between sites
- Review requests are not sent for POS purchases
- Time limit: 120 days for customers to leave reviews
- One review per product per customer
- Reviews are not available for canceled orders
The review system automatically pauses when you modify the email template or manually disable it. Previous reviews remain visible even after downgrading your plan, though new review requests will stop.
