To start accepting payments in your online store, connect either Squarespace Payments or a third-party payment processor through your payment settings. Available options include:

Squarespace Payments

  • Accepts: Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, Apple Pay, Afterpay/Clearpay, Klarna, and Link by Stripe
  • Works for store orders and digital product blocks
  • Not available for point of sale transactions

Stripe

  • Processes credit/debit cards without customer accounts
  • Accepts: Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover (US only), and Apple Pay
  • Available in select countries with currency limitations

Note: When connecting Squarespace Payments, it will replace Stripe as your primary processor, though existing Stripe subscriptions will continue processing through your Stripe account.
