URL slugs are unique, page-specific addresses that identify content on your website. They follow your domain name and help visitors navigate to specific pages or content.

Basic URL Slug Guidelines:

  • Always use lowercase letters
  • Length: 3-250 characters for pages, 3-200 for blog posts/events/products
  • Only hyphens (-) allowed as special characters
  • Must be unique across live pages
  • Cannot use reserved slugs like 'cart', 'checkout', 'search'

Finding URL Slugs:

  1. Use Full Preview mode
  2. View in Incognito/Private browsing
  3. Check page/item settings

Changing URL Slugs for Different Content Types:

Pages:

  1. Open Pages menu
  2. Hover over page, click settings
  3. Update URL slug field
  4. Save changes

Blog Posts:

  • Default format can include: %t (title), %m (month), %d (day), %y (year)
  • Edit individual posts through post settings
  • Always starts with blog page URL

Products:
