Moving products from other platforms to Squarespace is straightforward through a one-time import process. Here's what you need to know:

Supported Platforms and Import Limits

• Import from Etsy (up to 500 products)
• Import from Shopify
• Import from Big Cartel
• Up to 10,000 products per Shop page (Version 7.1)
• Up to 200 products per Shop page (Version 7.0)
• Maximum 100 variants per product

Import Process

Etsy Import:

1. Add a Shop page
2. Go to Products and Services → Products → Import
3. Select Etsy and click Get Started
4. Choose destination Shop page
5. Start Import
6. Log into Etsy and grant access
7. Wait for completion

Shopify Import:

1. Download .csv file from Shopify account
2. Go to Products and Services → Products → Import
3. Select Shopify
4. Upload .csv file
5. Wait for completion

Big Cartel Import:

1. Go to Products and Services → Products → Import
2. Select Big Cartel
3. Enter complete Big Cartel URL
4. Wait for completion

Important Notes:

• This is a one-time import (no automatic syncing)
• Ensure Etsy vacation mode is off before importing
• Downloadable products cannot be imported
• Imported products appear on a new Shop page
• Currency must match between platforms
• Tags and categories may need manual addition

After Import:

• Set up shop settings
• Review imported products
• Add missing information
• Configure shipping profiles
• Set up payment methods
• Create discount codes for existing gift cards if needed
