Adding Videos
- Get the embed code from your video platform's Share or Embed button
- Edit your page and click the Embed block
- Click the pencil icon to open the block editor
- Paste the code into the Code Snippet field
- Optionally add a description or custom thumbnail
For YouTube Playlists:
- Navigate to your playlist
- Click Share > Embed
- Copy the code and paste it into the Embed block
Adding Other Content Types
- Edit your page and add an Embed block
- Open the block editor
- Enter the content URL (must be from an oEmbed-compatible site)
- If content doesn't display, manually paste the embed code
Troubleshooting Tips
If you see "Please enter a valid URL or embed code":
- Verify your URL or code is correct
- Look for "Successfully located" message
- Contact the service provider if issues persist
If embedded content isn't visible:
- Check the page while logged out
- View in an incognito window
- Verify the code with the service provider
Best Practices:
- Use Video blocks for basic YouTube and Vimeo content
- Use Embed blocks for advanced video settings or other platforms
- Enable autoplay by modifying the embed code
- Consider loading times when adding multiple embeds
Note: Some embedded content may not display while logged in but will be visible to site visitors. This is a security feature and not an error.
