Domain verification takes place through a unique TXT record added to your domain provider's DNS settings. This method serves as an alternative when CNAME verification fails or isn't supported.

Common scenarios for using TXT verification:

  • CNAME record verification hasn't worked after 72 hours
  • Domain provider doesn't accept CNAME records
  • Unable to modify existing CNAME records
  • Verifying subdomain connections

How to Add a TXT Record for Domain Verification:

  1. Access DNS Settings
  • Log into your domain provider account
  • Locate DNS management settings (may be labeled as "Zone File Settings" or "DNS Manager")
  1. Add TXT Record
  • Copy the unique verification code from your DNS Settings panel
  • Create a new TXT record with these values:
    • Host Name: @ or leave blank
    • Record Type: TXT
    • Points to: Your unique verification code
  1. Verify Connection
  • Return to DNS Settings
  • Click Refresh to update records
  • Check for green "Correct" label in Current Data column
  • Allow up to 72 hours for complete verification

Important Notes:

  • Verification may take up to 72 hours
  • Use exact verification code provided
  • Ensure proper record formatting
  • Keep existing DNS records intact

This verification method works for both domains and subdomains, providing a reliable alternative when standard CNAME verification isn't suitable.
