Integrate Zapier with Form Blocks: Step-by-Step Automation Guide

Use Zapier to automate form submissions and connect your forms with over 1,000 apps. When visitors submit a form, Zapier can trigger automated workflows called "Zaps" to integrate with tools like Slack, Trello, ConvertKit, and Salesforce.

Connect Your Form to Zapier in 4 Steps:

  1. Set Up Your Form
  • Add a form block, newsletter block, or cover page
  • Click Edit > Save > Zapier > Connect
  • Wait for "Waiting for connection to Zapier" message
  1. Generate API Key
  • Go to Developer Tools > Developer API Key
  • Click Generate Key
  • Enable Forms permissions
  • Copy and save your unique API key securely
  1. Create a Zap
  • Log into Zapier.com
  • Click Create Zap
  • Select Squarespace as trigger
  • Choose "New Form Submission"
  • Sign in using your API key
  • Select your website and form
  • Test the trigger

After Connection:

  • Storage tab shows "x Zap(s) connected"

  • Message "Waiting for connection from Zapier" appears until setup is complete
