Use Zapier to automate form submissions and connect your forms with over 1,000 apps. When visitors submit a form, Zapier can trigger automated workflows called "Zaps" to integrate with tools like Slack, Trello, ConvertKit, and Salesforce.

Connect Your Form to Zapier in 4 Steps:

1. Set Up Your Form

• Add a form block, newsletter block, or cover page
• Click Edit > Save > Zapier > Connect
• Wait for "Waiting for connection to Zapier" message

2. Generate API Key

• Go to Developer Tools > Developer API Key
• Click Generate Key
• Enable Forms permissions
• Copy and save your unique API key securely

3. Create a Zap

• Log into Zapier.com
• Click Create Zap
• Select Squarespace as trigger
• Choose "New Form Submission"
• Sign in using your API key
• Select your website and form
• Test the trigger

4. Add an Action Choose from popular integrations:

Productivity Tools:

• Trello: Create new cards
• Google Calendar: Add events
• Slack: Send notifications
• Basecamp: Create tasks

Email Marketing:

• ConvertKit: Add subscribers
• Constant Contact: Update contacts
• HubSpot: Manage mailing lists

CRM Systems:

• Salesforce: Add leads
• HubSpot CRM: Create deals
• Pipedrive: Track opportunities
• Zendesk: Generate tickets

After Connection:

• Storage tab shows "x Zap(s) connected"
• Each form requires at least one Zap per action
• Message "Waiting for connection from Zapier" appears until setup is complete
