Integrate Zapier with Your Squarespace Forms for Automated Workflows

Zapier allows you to automate form submissions from your Squarespace site by connecting them to over 1000 applications. When visitors submit a form, Zapier can trigger automated actions in various tools like Slack, Trello, ConvertKit, and Salesforce.

Connect Your Form to Zapier:

  1. Enable Zapier Storage:
  • Edit your Form/Newsletter Block
  • Click Storage > Zapier > Connect
  1. Generate API Key:
  • Open Developer Tools
  • Click "API Keys for Developers"
  • Generate new key with Forms permission
  • Copy and save the key securely
  1. Create a Zap:
  • Log into Zapier.com
  • Click "Create a Zap"
  • Search for "Squarespace"
  • Select "New Form Submission"
  • Paste your API key
  • Select your site and form
  • Test the trigger

  1. Configure Actions: You can set up various automated actions, including:

Productivity:

  • Add Basecamp tasks
  • Create Trello cards
  • Schedule Google Calendar events
  • Send Slack notifications

Email Marketing:

  • Add contacts to ConvertKit
  • Update Constant Contact
  • Sync with HubSpot lists

CRM Integration:

  • Create Salesforce leads
  • Add HubSpot CRM deals
  • Update Pipedrive
  • Generate Zendesk tickets

Important Notes:

  • Available on Core, Plus, Advanced, Business, and Commerce plans
  • Each form requires separate Zap configurations
  • Zapier offers free and premium plans (starting at $20)
  • Contact Zapier support for integration help
  • For technical site issues, contact Squarespace support

The Storage tab will display "x Zap(s) connected" once setup is complete. If you see "Waiting for connection from Zapier," you need to complete the remaining configuration steps.
