Common Facebook Sharing Issues & Solutions
When sharing content displays incorrect images or information:
- Image Size Requirements:
- Minimum size: 200x200 pixels
- Recommended size: 2,500 pixels
- Images below minimum size may not display
- Update Cached Content Using Facebook Debugger:
- Visit Facebook's debugger tool
- Enter your URL and click "Debug"
- Check preview under "Link Preview"
- Click "Scrape Again" if needed
- Share content again after debugging
- Fix Profile vs. Page Sharing Issues:
- Facebook only allows sharing to business pages, not personal profiles
- Connect your Facebook business page
- Ensure sharing permissions are enabled
- Resolve Connection Problems:
- Check account connection status
- Verify sharing permissions in Facebook Business Integrations
- Reconnect account if disconnected:
- Log out of Facebook
