Content link blocks provide a visual preview of other pages on your website, offering an engaging way to showcase content across multiple locations. When clicked, these previews direct visitors to the linked page.

Unlike standard text links that can point to any URL, content link blocks specifically connect to pages within your site. They display a larger visual preview, making them more noticeable and engaging than simple text links.

To add a content link block:

  1. Edit your page or post
  2. Click Add Block or an insertion point
  3. Select Content Link
  4. Click the pencil icon to open the block editor
  5. Choose the page you want to link to
  6. Click Apply to save (for version 7.0 sites)

Content link blocks display:

  • Featured image (7.0 version sites)
  • Title
  • Description (7.0 version sites)

These blocks are ideal for:

  • Creating visual navigation between related content
  • Highlighting key pages within your site
  • Improving internal linking structure
  • Enhancing user engagement through visual previews

Use content link blocks when you want to draw attention to specific pages, and text links when you need to reference content within your regular text flow.
