What You Need to Know About Ajax Loading in Version 7.0 Templates
Ajax loading is an asynchronous loading technique used in specific version 7.0 templates to enhance page loading speed and improve user experience when navigating between pages.
How Ajax Loading Works Ajax prevents the reloading of static elements like headers and footers when visitors move between pages. This selective loading approach makes page transitions appear faster, especially beneficial for content-heavy pages like blogs and galleries.

Managing Ajax Loading Ajax comes enabled by default for visitors. You can disable it through site styles, with these exceptions:

- Remains active on Farro family blog landing pages
- Automatically disabled for logged-in collaborators
To modify Ajax settings:
- Access Site Styles panel
- Locate Enable Ajax Loading setting
- Toggle the checkbox as needed
Important Considerations Ajax may conflict with:
- Custom code implementations
- Code-based customizations
- Anchor links
- URL redirects
- Site analytics (may only record first-page visits)
Loading Bar Feature Available in Brine and Farro families:
- Appears at page top during content loading
- Customizable through Site Styles
- Can be hidden via Show Loading Bar setting
- Adjustable width and color options
For optimal site performance, keep Ajax enabled unless specific functionality conflicts arise with your site's custom features or tracking requirements.
