• You need to verify a subdomain connection

1. Access DNS Settings

• Log into your domain provider account
• Locate DNS settings (may be called zone file settings or DNS manager)

2. Create TXT Record

• Go to your Squarespace domain dashboard
• Select the unverified domain and click [DNS]
• Copy the unique verification code below [Host] (format: verify.squarespace.com)
• Add a new TXT record with:
  • Alias: @ or leave blank
  • Type: TXT or TXT Record
  • Points to: Your copied verification code
• Save the record

3. Verify Connection

• Return to Squarespace DNS settings
• Click [Refresh]
• Wait for the [Current Data] column to update
• Look for the green [Fixed] label
• Allow up to 72 hours for changes to take effect

Note: DNS propagation typically takes 24-72 hours. During this time, your domain verification status may fluctuate. If verification fails after 72 hours, double-check your TXT record settings or contact your domain provider's support.
