• Squarespace doesn't host email services
• Email is always hosted externally
• Site hosting, domain hosting, and email hosting are separate services

Hosting Structure:

• Site: Always hosted by Squarespace
• Custom Domain: Either Squarespace or third-party provider
• Email: Always third-party (Google Workspace or other provider)

Sending Emails Successfully:

• Add DKIM records to prevent spam filtering
• For Google Workspace users, follow Google's DKIM and SPF documentation
• Other email providers require their specific DKIM/SPF setup

Remember that connecting a domain to Squarespace won't affect existing email hosting. If using a Squarespace domain with third-party email service, you can maintain this by updating MX records.
