If you receive a suspicious email appearing to be from Squarespace, don't click any links, download attachments, or reply. Instead, forward the entire email (including header and subject line) to [email protected].

Common Signs of Phishing Scams:

  • Requests for sensitive information (bank details, passwords, SSN)
  • Urgent claims about account risk
  • Unsolicited account verification links
  • Misspelled email addresses (e.g., squareespace.com)
  • Suspicious links not leading to www.squarespace.com
  • Imitated Squarespace design
  • HTML attachments

Important Security Notes:

  • Squarespace never contacts customers through website form blocks
  • Squarespace does not make phone calls to customers
  • [email protected] and [email protected] only send form submissions from your website visitors

Protection Tips:

  2. Verify email sender addresses carefully
  3. Check link URLs before clicking
