If you receive a suspicious email appearing to be from Squarespace, don't click any links, download attachments, or reply. Instead, forward the entire email (including header and subject line) to [email protected].
Common Signs of Phishing Scams:
- Requests for sensitive information (bank details, passwords, SSN)
- Urgent claims about account risk
- Unsolicited account verification links
- Misspelled email addresses (e.g., squareespace.com)
- Suspicious links not leading to www.squarespace.com
- Imitated Squarespace design
- HTML attachments
Important Security Notes:
- Squarespace never contacts customers through website form blocks
- Squarespace does not make phone calls to customers
- [email protected] and [email protected] only send form submissions from your website visitors

Information Squarespace Will Never Request:
- Full credit card numbers
- Account passwords
Information Squarespace May Legitimately Request:
- Last four digits of your credit card
- Government-issued ID (for account verification)
- Bank details through secure portal (for Squarespace Payments only)
Protection Tips:
- Enable Google reCAPTCHA on your forms
- Verify email sender addresses carefully
- Check link URLs before clicking
- Report suspicious form submissions using the "Report Spam" button
