Share Button Guide for Version 7.0: Adding Social Media Sharing Features
Share buttons help visitors promote your content on social media platforms, increasing your site's reach and traffic. Here's everything you need to know about implementing them effectively:
Available Sharing Options
- Pinterest (requires featured images)
- Tumblr
Adding Share Buttons
- Navigate to the Share Buttons panel
- Select your desired social media platforms
- Click Save to apply changes
The buttons will appear automatically on supported pages. For some pages, you'll need to enable them separately through Site Styles:
- Album pages: Uncheck "Hide album share link"
- Events pages: Select "Show social buttons"
- Single events: Select "Show social buttons"

- Standard Sharing Links
- Appear behind a Share link
- Open in overlay menu when clicked
- Advanced Share Buttons
- Display directly on the page
- Include additional styling options
- Available in Brine, Farro, Skye, Tremont, and York templates

Default Button Placement
- Album pages: Below album title
- Events: Below descriptions
- Blog posts: Below content
- Products: Below Add to cart button
Customizing Advanced Share Buttons
- Open Site Styles panel
- Navigate to Share Buttons section
- Choose button style (icon only, full, outline, or raised)
- Adjust size, spacing, and colors as needed

Hiding Share Buttons
To remove all sharing buttons:
- Open Share Buttons panel
- Deselect all social media options
For specific pages:
- Product pages: Use Site Styles tweaks for your template
- Blog pages: Adjust settings in Blog section of Site Styles
- Album/Events pages: Use corresponding hide/show toggles
Important Notes
- Facebook shares may appear in News Feeds based on algorithms
- Pinterest sharing requires featured images
- Different templates may have varying display options
- You can complement sharing buttons with social icons and social media blocks
